I’m a Minnesota based photographer who will drop anything to take my girls out for a french fry date, photograph a sunset session with a couple, or simply take time to listen to someone's story.
Being a wedding photographer comes with so many high moments, but one of my favorites is seeing the couples face knowing we got, “the shot” — all three of us jumping out of our shoes thinking about how pretty it’ll be blown up on a wall in their home. A close second is witnessing the bride's first look with her dad (crying). There are no amount of first looks that will prepare me for the day I’m in his shoes.
For me, great photos start with how the day feels. When you feel comfortable, supported, and free to be yourselves-- everything else falls into place. I create an experience that feels easy and familiar so your photos don’t just show what your wedding looked like...

Erik is not only a one-of-a-kind photographer, but also a great person. Neither my now-husband or I have ever been comfortable in front of a camera and knew we needed someone who put our anxieties at ease. Erik did that and so much more. Erik was always so intentional about making sure that the photos were exactly what we wanted them to be.
